a stranger in my life

I have a stranger in my life..its new ..its dynamic..and it doesnt know its mood..i am really flustered sometimes but i am loving this challenge..the pursual is always exciting than the end result itself..
But i love the way it puts itself in front of myself and puts a fight against me..Because i don't give up and i like a challenge and things which can withhold against me..i am waiting to see how long it holds against me..something's gotta give in..

a french friend's memoir..

These are the excerpts from a french friend who visited India..and I hope we learn a lesson..
"....I must say we are happy to have left India.
We eventually got used to the lively (yet smelly) atmosphere of the streets, but we got sick of the continuous tourist hassle, which made our trip very uncomfortable. It was impossible for us to walk quietly in the streets or visit a monument without being harassed by insisting shopkeepers or beggars (not to mention the uncountable rip-off's we had to avoid). After a while, we were forced to turn down anyone who tried to talk to us. In such conditions, travelling was not very pleasant and meeting/sharing with Indian people was just impossible. I am quite sad we did not have any real insight into indian culture because of that.
The monuments we saw were very impressive and convinced us that India had a rich history and an exceptionnal touristic potential. However, I am afraid most Indians are wasting this potential by considering tourists only as a stack of 500 rps. notes and giving them a very bad welcome. Most tourists we met on our trip had the same impression.
I hope that things will change and that people will realize that harassing tourists is not the best way to make them spend money and come back.
You are lucky not to have this problem, with you being indian. I recommend you to visit Taj Mahal (you probably have) and the Khajuraho temples if you have some time : they are wonderful places."

PS:I reallly hope things change ..and I dont really know how to defend this..I have been faced with many questions before about India and well i think i did pretty well to defend India and also better our position..I just dont know how to reply to this though...

oil travels faster than light

Now as far as I remember I have explained in one of last few blogs how oil market is one of the MOST volatile markets.The speed with which it fluctuates beats our sounds of sigh(Hence,its faster than sound) and fluctuates faster than we can see(Which preposterously I can say is faster than we can see and hence faster than light)
Oil oil oill...that is all what the whole world longs for..Russian attack on Georgia is a follow up where another world power is beginning to involve in a big way since there is a huge premium for that pipelines which flow around there.USA surrounding Russia with its Polish missile shield deal will only make the matters worse.A few days earlier I thought that US will forgo this proposed deal and also let NATO not make Georgia and Ukraine its members since it needs Russia's support to censure Iran(a big time enemy of Russia...though there were also reports that since Russia attacked Georgia and came close to Iran ,Iran could agree to the west's demand for ending its nuclear plants et al).
For the moment though,my perception is that Georgia and Ukraine will not get a membership in NATO for a long time(and that amounts to never)..A strong likelihood that Europe will allow Russia to take control of Georgia and Ukraine in some time..because it cant risk its gas supplies from Russia and neither can it fight for someone else and that too against Russia.
The Kremlins ie Russia will look to take control of Georgia+Ukraine and hence the Black Sea..US will not install its defense shield in Poland atleast for a couple of years since its too busy in Iraq and Afghanistan.It also has to deal with Iran and so cannot bug Russia.
Arctic Sea will become a major flash point ..but that is atleast 4-5 years away.Also western oil companies will force their way throug off-shore drilling in US(which is currently banned due to environmental issues) since they are on their way out from the big oil producing regions like Venenzuela,Iran,Russia and the like anti-US/pro-nationalist countires.
Oil prices I think will only rise..I donot think they can go below 100$ at any cost..The stakes are too high for oil producing countries to let that happen.
You can run you can hide but you cant escape Oil.

once there was a boy

now there was a friend i knw who falls for a girl pretty soon if she is a smooth talker..pretty soon means pretty soon..he never used to actually say that to the girl that he likes her ..Now he hit it off pretty well with one girl and now he showed some guts and said it to that girl to be his girlfriend...she says yes...and he is like dumbfounded...he cudnt believe her...so he asks again ..and she says ya..she is a girl and she is his friend ..hence his girlfriend...now is that because girls are shy and dont want to say yes repeat again or was it that she had exactly this in mind..i dont knw..the boy is stupid..the girl i dont know..
They continued to talk ...the boat is still in the ocean..stilll needs an anchor..

fistcuffs and hand fights..

Now i havent had handfights and fistcuffs for long..i think that is a demon of adulthood that I have had to face..It was a nice change some time back when I got involved in one some time back with a cousin..obviously he was younger to me becoz ppl my age dont get into fights just for fun..
now i learnt another thing to say that i am not 23 years old but 23 years young...
