Height of Technology and dumbness

Now this is dedicated to all the Computer science students ...3
We have to read a lot of reports in our trading job..and also We subscribe to a lot of trial subscriptions...Those guyz (or infact their IT personnel) say that they maintain a database..But know what these automated programs will send you a mail that you won't receive further reports..But if you subscribe to the same service from the same damn email address we should technically speaking not be getting the reports...But now I have tried this on 3 differents sites(pretty famous ones in their line of business) and ..guess what..they send you the reports...so enjoy yourself and just keep registering from the same email address..dont bother to create a new email address...

Where are we...

I have been thinking for the last few weeks...a few of my gud frens tying the knot and it reminds of my case...hopelessly hopeless...though the followng is little out of context...
jst analysing that I thought why some people keep phone with them at bed...and in silent mode..so is it an urge to have it by themselves all the time or what..even though they may hardly pick calls at nite..well I am still looking for answers..and if the phone isnt in silent mode..then what happens to them if sm1 actually calls/messages...
Another thing was ..do single people who are partying/or are with frens saturday nite...reply to messages...I dont think they do...if they are to someone that means they may be in "like with the person they are messaging"
Do frens and i mean a girl and a boy mainly...remain connected well after marriage or if one of them has found someone..things change..bt why shud they..its the love/new person who shud accomodate the old guys..
am still looking fr answers...

..let it rock...

Like Moses, the Dalai Lama, and Dr. Oracle, I am often asked to impart my wisdom and advice on those who cannot or will not help themselves. Even though I can't improve myself -- I am seemingly perfect ;) -- I can help others improve.

Dear Shivam,

My girlfriend has been nagging me to express my feelings more but she always does that at inconvenient times like when I'm watching football or reading about up-coming video games. I'd love to tell her something so she'll stop nagging me, but I have no idea how to go about "sharing" my emotions.

Sincereley,

RaviPrakash Lodhi

----------------------

Ravi,

There are only three appropriate venues for expressing one's emotions. I call them the 3 D's: Dinner, During Sex, Deathbed.

DINNER: Your girlfriend wants you to express your feelings? Fine. Cover her hand with your own, look deep into her eyes, and tell her in a soft voice how you regret not ordering an appetizer. This action is international girl-speak for "I am revealing the secret depths of my soul," so it doesn't have to be about appetizers -- any honest feeling you have about the quality of food or service will have her eating out of your hand.

DURING SEX: One of the seemingly infinite benefits of sex is that there's so much activity, coordination and noise, you can get away with saying almost anything*. Thus, sex is the ideal time to honestly express doubts about your employability, gambling addiction, or even your long-term relationship potential.

DEATHBED: Since it's really tough to be mad at someone who is about to die, your deathbed is an excellent time to really go bananas with your feelings. Insecurities, infidelities, incisions...anything you've kept hidden over the years can be freely discussed with little fear of retribution. As an added bonus, some girls enjoy a sensitive side and become easily confused when faced with the grim certitude of death...play your cards right and you might be able to squeeze two in that deathbed before the buzzer goes off. (NOTE: For all the above reasons, feigning your own terminal illness and deathbed scenario can be a cathartic experience).

*Note: avoid at all costs mentioning how hot her sister is.

**Unless said sister is in bed with you. In that case, feel free to exaggerate a bit.

P.S.: I am sorry for copying some of my work..

I am listening to let it rock these dayz though

what's there in a name

Now i was returning by train a few years back from Bangalore and i was coming back alone actually..
So there was this old couple of yore ..you know the forty fifty years married kinds..
They looked more like those english educated kinds of couple..So the guy keeps calling her sweet nothings like rose ,sweetie pie,sweetheart...and all those sweet names all the time..I was really amazed to see such love after having being married for so much time..
so the lady( or grandma shud i say...) just went out..and I confessed to this granpd kinds of person that their love looked eternal and has really stood the wrath of time..grandpa then quipped back that he had forgotten her name around ten years back and so called her out like this lest she feels bad...

So moral of the story is what's there in a name...your feelings are important...
to copy from one hindi movie....even shakespeare wrote his name below this saying of his...;)

....the making of a heartattack..

in the last few dayz ..i.e. this week i realized how people can so easily get a heartattack/heartfail when they make a big loss and want to escape all the ignominy..
Lemme strt from the begining ...I am a crude oil trader..and man ..crude oil is volatile..the way it moves ..i jst luv it..
uptil last month when my P/L (profit/loss) statment used to move ..i used to enjoy it ..but coming bcak this year ..this is also giving me heart burns...last two dayz I almost had a feeling that I am going to get a heart attack...my hands dint sweat(u cud attribute that to the Ultra cold conditions.)
I just wish more such volatile dayz for me to finally attain vairagya urf nirvana..i hope i have sm gud deeds under my belt..

p.s.:I have even started listening to "what if god was in one of us" by joan osbourne..
and now i am seriously wondering why my first blog of the year is about heartattacks..
